PRISAA 2009 Opening

The parade was held last Sunday April 19, but the grand opening was held last April 20, 2009 at the UNC Sports Palace. I didn't watch the opening because we have work and the security of GMA was tight. Guess what? I parked outside UNC just because no vehicles were allowed inside the school premises. Eh sino ba naman ako na maki usap just to park inside the school. When I entered the main gate, traffic! Traffic dahil sa tao! Un pala kinakapkapan lahat ng pumapasok sa UNC kahit employees. When it was my turn to go in, dinampot ung ID ko tapos sbi nung policewoman sa kapwa nya policewoman.. "ano ok na to?" tumango din ung isa "cge pasok na". Tsk tsk tsk. kainis ah!

For one morning the situation iniside UNC was not the usual like an ordinary day just because GMA was the one who formally opened the PRISAA. Speaking of GMA, the program started 9am which was quite on time but GMA was late.. she arrived 10:35 am. I don't know if her flight was delayed or there might be other reasons.

Oh, one more thing! Outside our office are piled armchairs for our clients (students, sometimes with parents, visitors of the Guidance Center and Admission Office and Scholarship Office.. haha tatlo kc function namin haha) who were filling up forms for them to take the entrance exam. So ayun po, armchair kc un para comfortable naman mag sulat ang mga bata, tapos paalisin ba naman ng mga police kc daw bawal! kc dadaan si GMA! I think that was a little too much, just because GMA is coming then our lives/ work in the university will be affected that much. Eh sympre police un eh kaya wala kami nagawa and then wala din nagawa ung mga students kaya pumasok nlng sa office. Imagine nyo nlng.. in every 100 meters may naka pwestong police. Name it and they were there, Security Guards ng UNC strict din, Philippine National Police, even the Military was there and plus the Presidential Security Guards.

*"whew" what an experience!!
