The road to Daet is one of the greenest roads in Bicol. Driving from Naga and reaching Basud, Camarines Norte grounds is a protected forest, Bicol National Park which houses Bicol's Mother Tree, the oldest and the largest.
The zigzag road in Camarines Norte also has the sharpest curves in Bicol close to Bitukang Manok in Atimonan, Quezon but not that steep. Just looking at the curves makes you want to drift but of course not advisable Fast and Furious wannabes.
Since most travelers use the Quirino Highway when going to and fro Manila, the roads of Camarines Norte are mostly in good condition as in real good.
