Naga City - The Bicol Busines Week now on it's 10th year is now set on August 26 - 30, 2014 at the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum. "The Bicol Business Week (BBW) is an annual business activity of the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the city government of Naga, in partnership with the different government and non-government organizations — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Agriculture (DA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Local Government Units (LGUs), Private Sector and Local Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCIs) in Bicol. BBW components include trade show/exhibit (agri-aqua exhibit, consumer goods expo, real estate, tourism and wellness, real estate and construction, career and education, renewable energy, car and motor show), conference, seminars and fora, and job fair. Participants/exhibitors of BBW are local entrepreneurs from Bicol and Manila-based companies who are looking for market, business networking and product promotion. This year's theme of "Priming Bicol Winnig Asia" embraces the opportunities and obstacles of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which will gear Region 5 to be a unified and competitive market zone scheduled to go into full effect in December 2015. The challenge to conquer international realms in terms of business will need a dynamic and international mindset from the local business men of the region.
